Sorry for the late report today and a very Happy New Year to you all.
Well, it has certainly been a snowy start to the year. Numbers vary but there has basically been a LOT of new snowfall…. as you can see by the official numbers from this morning (below) with resorts reporting anywhere between 50 and 90cm since New Years Eve. More than enough for everyone and some very fine conditions out there though a lot of care is needed out on the roads approaching and in Hakuba.
It has been snowing through the day as well and with more forecast for tonight and into the weekend.
