Wednesday 23rd December 2009

A little bit warmer today as temperatures increase as forecast. -2 at the top of Goryu this morning and currently 2 degrees in the shade at 800m. Conditions on the runs are still excellent, couldn’t ask for much more really. Tsugaike yesterday had groomed one line down the center with deep powder on either side and the cold temps have kept the powder in fluffy condition.

Light snow is forecast overnight but nothing to write home about. Overcast tomorrow with the sun coming out Christmas and relatively warm temperatures for the next few days. I think its safe to say the last few days have been the shiznit powder wise and now its back to eating scraps, but groomers have a solid base and we are setup for a decent run through to the next dump.
