The clouds parted yesterday lunchtime and the day remained clear, though some strong gusts came in closing a lot of the lifts. Woke up to a beautiful bluebird morning. Solar-aspect runs will be getting slushy quick today with 8 degrees measured at 860m as at 9:40. More showers forecast for this evening continuing tomorrow.
There are lots of dirt patches opening up on the skifields meaning lots of fun hits all over the place. Spring jib sessions more than well in effect…
Backcountry Travel Advisory:
After a nice weekend rain began falling pretty heavily sometime this morning and looks set to continue through the day clearing however as the day progresses. 5 degrees in the valley and Goryu patrol measured plus 4 on top and at the base this morning with precipitation falling as rain pretty much to the top with some strong North/North-easterly gusts. Forecast to clear through the day and for better weather tomorrow.
Watch solar radiated slopes, around rocks and cornices as they warm through the day.
