Weather conditions: Overcast/Rain
New snowfall: 0 cm
Snow depth: 210 cm (Goryu base) 280 cm (Goryu top)
Could it be said this is the last day of rain for a while? Sure hope so. And it seems that way from weather forecasts with temperatures coming down and the rain in the valley forecast to be turning to snow overnight and flurries continuing through the week.

The top of Goryu was a balmy 4 degrees this morning apparently with no fresh snow recorded but with precipitation forecast through the week its great the freezing level looks like it will be coming down enough for anything to fall as snow.

There is not a lot of wind in Hakuba with light Southerlies but visibility is not the best at altitude this morning. So bit of a mixed bag today but good news with some new snow on the way and hopefully not long after that the sun comes out.
