|It is a beautiful bluebird day on the slopes today bringing lots of smiles for the first day of the long weekend (Monday is a national holiday in Japan).
There have been a few lift lines at Happo and other resorts; this is always one of the few weekends we really see the mountain being used as it should be.
Clouds were sitting over the top of the alps this morning but burnt off early and we’ve had sunglasses weather all day.
240cm at the top of Goryu today, no snow overnight and the heavy dump from Wednesday night has had plenty of time to settle. Snow is still forecast for tomorrow so lets wait to see how much falls, though probably nothing major.
Good day to finish off by kicking back somewhere with a nice view of the mountains and enjoying the sunset as we may be back into cloudy weather from tomorrow.
