Hakuba Snow Report March 6th

It’s definitely raining outside and has been for awhile. Goryu reported 3 cms of fresh so we can guess we got a bit of snow on top followed by the wetter stuff that’s not quite snow…no-ones been up yet to check it out but with the weather station at 2080m registering -2 degrees and Goryu measuring 0 degrees at 6 AM its safe to assume that light fluffy flakes aren’t whats falling on top. Bit of a shame as conditions on the skifield where the goods yesterday; the last snow fall could have made a difference to the BC; and this rain is forecast to continue all day…
