Hakuba Snow Report March 21st

Cold morning but warm in the sun today with blue skies and it got hot quick. The skifields are packed today with people everywhere…Happo is the place to be if you like top to bottom moguls covered in non-mogul skiers and Goryu is the spot if you like weaving your way through the crowds on the bottleneck. Happo has gotten super patchy at the bottom with some areas requiring traverses through the mud and the bottom of Goryu won’t be far behind….getting close to the end of March though so what can you do.

Tomorrow looks to be a rainy one but we still have snow forecast Wednesday through Friday next week.

200 cm at 1800 masl
75 cm at the base
