Late report today as we waited to see how the day would turn. High cloud this morning obscured above around 2000m and the precipitation that was forecast for Hakuba this weekend has come bringing snow above around 1500m.
Winds from the South-West, a big low coming in, and temperatures of -1 at present set to begin dropping over tomorrow and especially from Sunday means the New Year could see a much-needed decent snowfall…
Backcountry Travel Advisory:
Weather rolling in today and snow starting to fall up top…visibility will be limited and conditions could turn extreme quickly. Exercise extreme caution if heading back country today.
