| Sorry for the late report today.
The snow has continued falling in Hakuba today. With 5cm or so overnight last night and some more cm during the day, the slopes have continued to receive fresh layers of snow and conditions out there are excellent. There are still some runs here and there not yet officially open, but operations are now generally close to fully open at most resorts in the area. Tomorrow may well see a clear start to the day, sun perhaps, but the signs are that by later on in the day it will be snowing again and there is good potential for some heavy snowfall Tuesday through into at least Thursday, accompanied by some cold temperatures. Wrap up well and just imagine all that fluffy powder out there! |
