Snow depth: Hakuba Goryu Top : 280cm [official]
Yesterday was a great, clear and sunny but cold day in Hakuba. We have thin white cloud over Hakuba today and warm – 9.4 degrees in the valley, though up at 1400m it’s holding around 0. Winds seem to be gusting though the weather stations aren’t recording more than 6 m/s – but there are definitely gusts stronger than that.

Visibility is good and there are a lot of people out there being a Sunday. From tomorrow we’ll be back to weekday styles with hardly any people around and no lift lines.

Weather for the week looks to be light snow showers Monday to Wednesday with Wednesday seeing the most snow, though currently not forecast to be heavy.
