Weather conditions: Mostly overcast

Snow depth: Hakuba Goryu Top : 310cm [official]
Beautiful day yesterday but warm, up to 8.5 degrees at 760m after the overnight low of -13 so quite a contrast in temperatures there. Relatively mild last night with an overnight low of -5 in the valley. Overcast today with some patches of blue holding out though all the forecast are calling for the cloud to roll in bringing a mix of rain turning to snow as temps drop – depending where you look some are more optimistic than others re the rain/snow ratio so it looks like we’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out.Current temps and wind info as at 10:51AM –
2060m: -1.5 degrees, 5m/s from the S
1400m: 1.6 degrees, no wind
760m: 7.9 degrees, no wind

It looks like the weekends conditions will really depend on how much rain we get overnight and how much snow falls on top of that, more to come tomorrow.
