Day Care in Hakuba
For young children that may not be ready for the slopes just yet or those kids just wanting to have fun day playing indoors and out, daycare service is available. While you take your time on the hill you can trust that your kids are having a great time playing games in the play area and warming up around the heaters inside when it gets a bit chilly.
Our friendly staff of daycare workers love kids and are trained in First-Aid. Kids will feel right at home whether it is making arts & crafts, playing games or exploring the snowy world around the facility. Please fill out our Emergency Information Sheet for your child prior to dropping them off, and if you would like your child to have a warm cocoa or something similar the daycare staff can look after money for you. Also feel free to leave any other snacks or drinks your child may need with your caregiver.
English Daycare Service is offered everyday at Happo-one from December 10th to the end of March. For daycare service outside these dates, please email us direct and we will try to help.

Location
All day care is held at Evergreen Outdoor Center's Ski School (Happo Base) on the slopes of Happo-one. Click here to see Happo Base access details. If coming to our ski school by yourself, please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to your lesson start-time. Alternatively, you may request our complimentary shuttle - details of this can be found here.
Includes
Trained Daycare staff (English speaking), VIP pass to Daycare Lounge, insurance, tax, and all the fun they can handle.
Bring
Winter clothing, knit cap, gloves, additional snacks/drinks your child may want during the day, smiles!

Supervised Lunches
A supervised lunch session is available on request. Lunch is prepared in our vegetarian cafe and the kids eat in our warmed rest area under the supervision of Evergreen staff. The supervised lunch session lasts from 12:00 - 1:30 PM (the break between morning and afternoon) and the charge is 1,500 yen including lunch.
Complimentary Shuttle Service
For lessons at Happo-one, we offer a complimentary shuttle service before and after lessons provided you are staying within our pick-up area.
