Hakuba, located in Nagano Prefecture, equally central to Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo and nestled at the base of the Northern Japan Alps is towered over by the Three Peaks which provide a stunning backdrop year round. While Hakuba is world famous for it's snow and boasts more than 10 resorts, the green season offers plenty to those craving an escape from the confines of Japan in general.

From Canyoning to Canoeing, from Downhill MTB Single-track to Family Fun-rides, from Paragliding to Hiking, from Children's Summer Camps to Women's and Corporate Retreats, Hakuba has something for everyone...

Hakuba's mountains rise to over 3000 meters and have an average of over 10 meters of accumulated snowfall between December and April every year, more than 10 resorts are spread through the valley and the BC areas are just a hike away, and we know how to make the most of it.

Centrally located and long time members of the Hakuba community with our main school on-mountain at Happo-one, we are a Canadian/Japanese company, with staff from all over the world, and collectively we have cutting edge knowledge in mountain sports and taking-it-easy. Not just snow-freaks, our dedicated staff have years of wisdom, and are happy to give helpful advice on getting around in Japan and how to make the most of your time.

Whether it be your first time on skis or you are looking for full-day hikes into some of Japan's best alpine BC terrain, whether you want to spray powder-tails or take in the amazing views of the Northern Alps while snow-shoeing, or simply sleep in and relax in an onsen while the rest of the group wake up early for first-tracks and the kids chill in daycare...we have it all.

Our ski school instructors are certified to teach ski and snowboard lessons and perform medical care. Evergreen chooses ski instructors who have extensive experience guiding and teaching, who are responsible, and fun to be with. We offer the next steps for any skier/snowboarder: learn how to ride in powder, get bigger air, jump off big cliffs, or we can help you put on your boots and help you make your first turns.
