Tsugaike Kogen of Hakuba Japan

Up the road from Hakuba 10 minutes of scenic mountain roads, Tsugaike Kogen gets some of the best snow in the Hakuba valley, and because of its location higher in the Japan Alps, it has stunning views all accessable from a long gondola ride. There is great backcountry access and we do many of our backcountry tours, avalanche training, and ski/snowboard lessons at Tsugaike.
