Hakuba Sanosaka Sanosaka is a great resort in the summer. It has wonderful views of Lake Aokiko and the surrounding lakes. In winter, there are a number of easy runs for children and beginning snowboarders and skiers. Sanosaka is also a great place for snoeshoeing and crosscountry skiing. The top ridges, which are accessable from the top lifts, provide a great place to cruise along with your camera and get some great shots of the Japan Alps. Again, think sledding, think snowshoe.
