Evergreen opened a satellite school at Goryu in 2007 and now offers ski & snowboard lessons there daily.
Hakuba Goryu is arguably the second most popular Hakuba ski resort after Hakuba Happo-one.
Goryu was designed with families in mind, and has a great lodge with a hot bath, a variety of restaurants, an art gallery, and a small playground for children with a cafe nearby so parents can sip their coffee while watching their kids.
Goryu has long cruisy slopes at the bottom, intermediate runs, night skiing and plenty of powder stashes and moguls. It connects with Iimori (a mini-resort between Goryu and Hakuba 47) and with 47.
