Finding Evergreen Outdoor Center in Hakuba
Evergreen Outdoor Center's main location (Kokusai Base) operates year-round and is located on the slopes of Happo-one Skifield. In Summer/Winter we also run out of satellite locations - see the Summer/Winter sections for more info.Summer
Kokusai Base - Evergreen's main year-round location at Happo-one Skifield.
On-mountain, 100m up from the bottom of the Kokusai Lift. You can reserve all lessons here and it is the sign-in/starting/finishing point for Canyoning, Mountain-Biking, Climbing and Hiking Tours/Nature Walks.
Aokiko Campsite - Summer only.
Location of all Canoe, Kayak, Canoe Picnic and Night Firefly Canoe Tours. We also run our Summer Camp Program here, camping beside Lake Aoki.
Winter
Kokusai Base - Evergreen's main year-round location at Happo-one Skifield.
Evergreen Ski School's ski-in, ski-out on-mountain location. 100m up from the bottom of the Kokusai Lift. You can reserve all lessons here and it is the sign-in/starting/finishing point for all Ski Resort Ski, Snowboard and Telemark Lessons and On-Mountain Guiding. Powder Clinics start at Happo Gondola and finish here. Our daycare room is also here, as is Roots Cafe - this is where our Supervised Lunch Session is run.
Wadano Base - Winter only.
500m from Kokusai Base; off-mountain and opposite the Mominoki Hotel inside the Wadanonomori Visitor's Center. Wadano Base is the center for all Avalanche Training, Backcountry, Snowshoe and Cross Country Tours.
Goryu Base - Winter only.
Due to lack of demand we have discontinued our school at Hakuba Goryu and now extend our shuttle service to accommodations in Goryu.
The map below also shows Hakuba Station, and gives complete access details from there to Kokusai & Wadano Bases.
