Happo Base is our main year-round location. It is located On Happo-one's Kokusai Slope 100m up from the base of the Kokusai Lift - on-mountain and ski-in ski-out in Winter, accessible by car in Summer. This is the sign-in and start-point for all tours in Summer and in Winter all Kids Lessons, Ski lessons, Snowboard Lessons, Telemark Lessons, On-Mountain Guiding and Daycare start and end here. Powder Clinics start at Happo Gondola and finish here. Parking is available nearby (abundant in Summer, a little harder to come by in Winter). Happo Base is also equipped with a daycare service (reservations necessary, Winter only), toilets for public-use, and our very own "Roots Cafe" where you can enjoy a mix of herbal teas, organic drinks & coffee, vegetarian food, alcoholic beverages and wireless internet (open July through August in Summer and December through March in Winter). Wadano Base is located in the Wadano Visitor's Center, opposite the Mominoki Hotel. It is open in Winter only and is the base and start-point for Avalanche Training, Backcountry Tours, Snowshoe & Evening Snowshoe Tours and Cross-country Tours.
