Directions to Lake Aoki Camp-Site
Evergreen Access › Lake Aoki
This is where all Canoe, Canoe Picnic, Kayak and Evening Firefly Canoe Tours take place. For those of you who do not have your own transport, or who wish to be shuttled to the lake by us, Evergreen will arange a shuttle either from your accomodation or from our office in Hakuba. Those of you who have your own transport and wish to meet us at the Lake, we trust these directions will be easy to follow.

1. Lake Aoki turn off on Route 148. This is the turn off to Lake Aoki when coming up from Oomachi on route 148. You'll see the signpost above. Go left here to go to the lake.
2. Lake Aoki intersection. After coming off from Route 148, you come to this intersection. When you see the signpost on the left hand side, turn left here.

1. Sanosaka Intersection. When coming from Hakuba on Route 148, you come to Sanosaka intersection. When you see the signpost above, turn right at the traffic lights to go to Lake Aoki. Drive through the dark tunnel and follow the road with the lake on your right hand side.
2. Lake Aoki Intersection. After driving along the lakeside for three to five minutes, you come to this intersection. When you see the signpost above, turn right here.
3. Map of Lake Aoki. After the intersection, you find this big map on the left hand side of the corner...follow the road which winds gently to the right.
4. Lake Aoki Camping ground. After following the winding road for five minutes, you come to Lake Aoki Camping ground. You find our signboard here. Please park your car at the car park on the right hand side of the road before our signboard, then walk down to the lake.

From Oomachi

2. Lake Aoki intersection. After coming off from Route 148, you come to this intersection. When you see the signpost on the left hand side, turn left here.

From Hakuba
1. Sanosaka Intersection. When coming from Hakuba on Route 148, you come to Sanosaka intersection. When you see the signpost above, turn right at the traffic lights to go to Lake Aoki. Drive through the dark tunnel and follow the road with the lake on your right hand side.
2. Lake Aoki Intersection. After driving along the lakeside for three to five minutes, you come to this intersection. When you see the signpost above, turn right here.
3. Map of Lake Aoki. After the intersection, you find this big map on the left hand side of the corner...follow the road which winds gently to the right.
4. Lake Aoki Camping ground. After following the winding road for five minutes, you come to Lake Aoki Camping ground. You find our signboard here. Please park your car at the car park on the right hand side of the road before our signboard, then walk down to the lake.
