Employment Opportunities at Evergreen Outdoor Center

Evergreen Outdoor Center is a great place to work seasonally in Japan and we offer jobs in Hakuba for foreigners as well as Japanese nationals. In the Summer the majority of our clients are Japanese and Japanese-speaking ability is necessary for you to develop fully in your role and be able to lead clients in the outdoors - that said for our Summer Camp Program the majority of children are English speaking. For English speakers seeking jobs in Japan with no Japanese ability, Hakuba can be a good choice as in the Winter nearly all of our clients are English speakers hence the abundance of English speaking jobs in our Hakuba Ski School from late November/ early December through to the end of February/March. We have ski instructor jobs, snowboard instructor jobs, reservations team, daycare, drivers and cafe staff - cooks, baristers and waiting staff. All positions require appropriate licencing/certification where relevant and experience is preferred.

Winter Jobs in Hakuba - 2011-2012

We are currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 Winter Season. We have openings for the following jobs in Hakuba, Japan: Ski Instructor, Snowboard Instructor, Support Staff (office, daycare, shuttle van driver, cafe staff (front and kitchen.))

Instructors must have valid instructors certification, valid First Aid & CPR certification and previous season's experience is an asset.

Office/Reservations and Daycare staff should be able to demonstrate high customer service skills and have previous years work experience in their field.

Shuttle drivers must have either a Japanese Drivers Licence (preferred) or an International Drivers Licence as well as experience driving in snowy & icy winter road conditions.

Cafe Staff should have experience in the food service industry, cafes or catering.
