Lake Aokiko At it's Finest
Enjoy a relaxing paddle in a 10 person Voyageur Canoe across the pristine waters of Lake Aoki (one of Japan's cleanest lakes located 15 minutes south of Hakuba). Glide to the northern shores where guides will prepare a delicious vegetarian picnic lunch including tofu sandwiches, soup, soy chicken and salad carefully prepared by the chefs at Evergreen's Roots Cafe.

The Voyageur canoes are very stable and the high side walls will keep you dry as you gently paddle and take in breathtaking views of Japan's Northern Alps. You will see multiple species of water foul, fish, small forest creatures and there is the possibility of seeing bears and Kamoshika that have come down from the mountains to drink from the crystal waters of Aokiko (Blue Tree Lake). This tour is perfect for families with young children, seniors and those just looking for a refreshing afternoon out in nature.
